I miss the horses. 🐴 I was always afraid of horses even though I was born in the year of the horse. My younger brother Harry bought a ranch in Arroyo Grande, and had about 10 or 15 horses. About four of them were imported from Ireland. He rode English saddle in contests. His entire life with horses. I moved near him to be close to him and his wife. One day we went out horseback riding and of course I had never really ridden horses much. Let me tell you these were real horses. Not ponies you ran at a pets now. Lol! Your story about horses Bring back those beautiful nostalgic days which ended 16 years ago. Have a beautiful day! Thank you for the joy. 🤗 🥰✨

Ponoko, Alberta is certainly horse country ! Mucho family ourselves out thataway & also deep into British Columbia including my ex bro in law rancher & range management specialist.. who often ‘works on horseback with a six gun plus saddle gun’ as he’s bound to meet every Grizzly while sampling & measuring grasses & graze .. much like Dr Andrew Derocher who takes samples from uh.. very large & always hungry white bears in the middle of Hudson Bay

Haha.. we should TALK ! .. er at least type .. as you’re likely ‘serendipity on the hoof.. with your background & expertise ! This is re a Spec Feature Film project underway here.. that requires very specific & shocking Illusions that just might delight you.. and hope you don’t burst out laughing so hard you injure yourself just thinking about it !

Here’s a horsie for you.. from where I grew up in southwestern Ontario after being transplanted as a feral orphan from Toronto at 12 or 13 years old .. but I have Banff ponies for you later.. and as some here know - my very 1st living memory of all at 2 years of age was Queenie the dray horse nuzzling or inspecting me .. she pulled Joe the fruit & vegetable man’s Wagon & I was soon supplying her hoarded veggies & fruit plus any sugar cubes I came across ! At 16 had a big retired Hunter on our farm & a pal nearby with quarter horses & later gained mucho experience & cred looking after the Large Animal Surgical Recovery ‘patients at University of Guelph’s School of Veterinary Medicine.. and was also working as a groom with race horses .. haha.. and no - was not an ‘exercise rider’ .. way above my pay grade in regard to thoroughbred race horses worth millions

jeepers I was entranced by the excitement of your enjoyment.. then BAM!!! Yikes. I can't really imagine what actually happened... I always have had a fear of horses, as beautiful and magnificent as they are, I keep a safe distance.

I am relieved to hear that they weren't hurt. My sister has a small ranch and I have been around some wild horses.. so I can relate to what you are saying about horses getting their freak on.. LOL, but I just as well like to watch from a distance! That's a long time around horses for you. I am sure you KNOW the dance! Great Story
